Have you heard about NCP Cares? It’s National Consumer Panel’s initiative to help communities across the country through charitable donations and volunteer work.

NCP employees are encouraged to take a Volunteer Day each year to work with local community outreach programs. We also have other projects our employees participate in, like helping to build houses for Habitat for Humanity, or supply drives to collect non-perishable food items or school supplies for local organizations.

Choosing A Recipient

But the mainstay of the NCP Cares program is our annual charitable donation to organizations in our panel members’ communities! Each year, we choose a category of organizations, such as schools, food pantries, animal welfare groups and more. This year, we are focusing on organizations that assist our nation’s veterans- maybe they work to provide housing for vets, or assist with mental health services, or provide care packages.

We also like to get our Panel Members involved! A few months ago, we invited Panel Members to nominate local charitable organizations to be considered for this year’s donation, and we received hundreds of worthy nominations! Then, a team at NCP reviewed the nominations and chose five semi-finalists. Finally, Panel Members are asked to vote for their two favorite organizations. The two organizations with the most votes this year will each receive $5,000 from National Consumer Panel!

This Year’s NCP Cares Semi-Finalists

Panel Members are currently voting for two of the following organizations to receive this year’s donation:

If you’re a Panel Member, be sure to vote by Monday, Oct. 24! Look for an email in your inbox with the link to the survey, or you can take the survey on the panel member website or in the NCPMobile app. And, stay tuned for the announcement of this year’s NCP Cares recipients!
