Purchasing decisions, both online and in-store, are influenced by many factors. When it comes to making purchase decisions, especially for a big ticket item, many people turn to the Internet for help. Whether it’s comparing prices and product features, reading product reviews and so on, the task of researching before buying is a common practice. It can help ensure that you’re getting the best deal and making a smart choice for your needs. Knowledge is power.

I love ready the Blog I seem to always find something new and interesting. Knowledge is power. Thanks for all your great work
I love being here. I’ve got to learn so much. And had fun. I know your job is not easy but you make it happen. You have a lot to share. Thanks so much.
If I have a great coupon or promo code, I will generally try new products. Being unemployed and my husband the only bread winner, I’m always looking for ways to save money.
Sometimes a coupon will get me to buy something new. I don’t like much of the store brand because the product are not very good. I use the Dollar General coupons for laundry soap, and I always buy Tide laundry soap. I like the pods. I also buy when there is 50% off a product.
Not enough brands utilize trial-sized products. If I’m considering a new product, I don’t want to invest a lot to find out if I like it or not. I amore likely to not try a new item from a brand that I previously paid extra to try, then was disappointed in what I got. I’d be more willing to try something if it was a small amount for a dollar or two. I rarely use hot sauce, but I stopped and read all the brand names on a display of trial-sized bottles at Walmart today. I was ready to find one to buy just because the product size was small (and theoretically reasonably affordable.) If I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t feel as ripped-off throwing away a tiny amount as $5-worth!
When stuff is on sale Im more willing to try or if their is coupons involved
A sale would entice me to try a new product. I use a lot of store brands as I find them as good as the name brand for a lot less money.
I have tried many store brands because they were cheaper or they didn’t have my usual brand, sometimes I will say that has been good and saved me money. But there were times that it was not the same as and was disappointed. If you don’t get to the grocery store on the right day then you will lose out on both the name brand as well as the store brand anyway.
The economy is causing me to try different brands. I love certain products, but cannot always get the ones I want due to budget restrictions.
I don’t like change too much but if there is an awesome sale with great reviews, I’ll certainly be tempted to try something new.
I will give new products a try if there is a deal or it is an item I can not usually find otherwise.
I feel it’s best to stick with my regular brands bc of being afraid of wasting $.
I shop around and compare the brands I usually purchase but have found just as good items in some generics.
If I try a new brand and it is cheaper than the one I like, I will switch. If they do away with a flavor I love, I won’t buy another one instead. I will look online to see if what I want is available there if I can’t get it locally.
I definitely have my favorite brands but as the economy has caused financial strain on us consumers I have had no choice at times to get a brand I don’t normally use because it is on sale or stays cheaper than the brands I normally use.
I shop often at Costco. I love when they choose new items to sample. Samples are often how I choose whether I will try a new product. My granddaughter and I tried a new product yesterday. For me it was bland, she loved it.
I will try a new brand if it’s better nutrition for the family then the old brand even if it’s a little bit more expensive…
I try to buy national brands because I can trust the quality of the products. I will try store brands.
