Super (Bowl) Snacks

It’s finally here! The Super Bowl will be played this Sunday, February 4. Last week’s blog included a survey that asked “Which of the following foods do you like to eat while watching the Super Bowl?”

As of January 31, the top responses were as follows:

  1. Dips (onion, vegetable, etc.)
  2. Chicken wings
  3. Potato chips
  4. Vegetable tray
  5. Cheese and crackers / Tortilla chips and salsa / Nachos

Note: A research team at General Mills compiled recipe search data from sites like BettyCrocker.com, Pillsbury.com, and Tablespoon.com. Specifically, they looked into both the most popular and unique search trends by state.

According to Google, the company looked for searches that are over-represented in each state (as opposed to the U.S. overall). It then reported each state’s most popular unique search term.

  1. I will have Potato Chips and onion dip plus Vegetable Tray and for the drinks
    Diet Pepsi, and mountain Dew, and some home made small sandwiches with Lunch meat and cheese
