How much fun is doing laundry? Loads of fun!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Best regards,

I have always been particular with my laundry. I learned early to not was whits after darks, or vice versa, as the lint gets in the seams and is impossible to get out! A white dress shirt with dark lint in seams stands out 🥴. I usually use cool water to lessen fading and transferring of color. Some towels leave pills on others, so I make sure to wash them separately. I also wash delicates separately to keep them looking good. I prefer liquid unscented detergent. I hate ironing, so am usually whipping clothes out of the dryer and hanging or folding right away! Some things I hang dry, or dry on a clothes rack in the bathtub. Yes, I am particular 😂
I like the liquid soap to wash clothes, I look at the labels for care and precautions, thanks for the zipper, I didn’t know that
Yes on the use less detergergent, I was told years ago by a mechanic to use half of what was listed on the product and I’ve been told several times since then so it’s still use half of the recommended amount
I wish I could use less laundry detergent, as it was suggested. Seems like everytime I turn around it’s time to buy more washing powder, fabric beads, fabric softener, spray n’ wash, fabric sheets… well, the sheets tend to last a while, but the rest goes quickly. If I don’t see suds, I HAVE put in more detergent. It doesn’t seem like it would get the clothes clean if I don’t see suds. I know it’s terrible for the environment & I feel like crap for it so in return, I wear my clothes 2 sometimes 3 times before wash, reuse bath towels 2 or 3 times, ect… so I guess it all kind of evens out…. Wait a minute… That may be why I use more soap and don’t see suds 🙃
Thanks for the zipper/button tip!
Never thought I needed to zip the zippers! Thanks for the tip
If you’re wondering if you’re using the right laundry detergent and the correct amount, take a garment put it in a container, put clean water in there let it sit and see if the water changes colors if it doesn’t it’s clean if it does well you’re using either not enough or the wrong detergent
I washed clothes when the it is time or on the weekends so I won’t have to wash dear the week days but if there’s a emergency I go ahead and wash clothes right away.
I learned something new reading this article, zip your zippers, nice. I always turn logo clothing inside out, fleece type clothes the same. Try making your own laundry detergent fun to do, get the family involved and cost effective.
I do laundry about twice a week as I do notlike having the laundry basket full. I only wear my clothes once and then they go into the laundry basket. I only use All Free and Clear Pods, i i-clean and Carbona Color Grabber, and am able to mix colors as and they do not run into each other.
I actually don’t mind laundry and I choose to deem myself the stain remover queen. Wash, dry, fold perfectly (I do not iron), but I am notoriously famous for leaving the loads organized in the laundry basket! Even with organized closets and kids drawers, putting it away is my downfall.
You are not alone.
Me and my fiance are up at midnight right now doing laundry ironically lol. I believe doing laundry creates a sense of bonding with your partner. Laundry is a necessity when spirit moves you.
I like soaking first if clothes have stains, I try to get stains out as soon as it happens otherwise they are harder to remove.
I use both laundry stain remover squirt bottle and Oxy Clean instead of chlorine bleach. Works like a charm, no matter what the water temperature is. For white work shirts, I take immediately out of the dryer as soon as the cycle is done, and hang up immediately. No need to iron this way…
I have a washer and dryer, but my house is an old house so I don’t use the dryer. My house needs to be rewired, so I just hang them out on a clothes line. It really doesn’t take long for them to get dried, cause the sun dry them really fast. I love that
I don’t like doing laundry at all. I have to wash clothes everyday because one thing I don’t like letting it get behind because whenever I do that, I have double the loads to wash, which makes it double the work, and it takes all day to get it done where there are so many of us. Plus, when you have members of your family that have certain atire they have to wear daily to work, I can’t skip one day of laundry. You would think that they would furnish enough things to do for several days but they don’t.
I live alone so I don’t have alot of laundry but what I do have needs to be washed on the hand washed cycle which means only 3-4 pieces at a time then hang them up. I feel like I do laundry everyday even if it is 3-4 items. Ugh!!
No time to do laundry these days with so much between work. School, making dinner. I will only wash when necessary. Luckily. My younger son and husband helps.
It would t be so bad if my family would learn how to turn the socks and clothes inside right so i don’t have to waste the extra time stick my hands j to their stinky dirty socks gross!! Lol
Yuck. Mine does that too! Lol
I really do like doing laundry, the only problem I have is that my c3,c4, and c5 disks are bad in my back and now arthritis has set in so i can’t lift the laundry but i do enjoy nice clean and wonderful smelling laundry!
I understand you the same with me, arthritis my whole body, vertebrae, spine etc. I need a tuneup.
I love doing laundry, especially hanging sheets outside towels dryer etc
It is very hard for anybody to do my laundry for me actually I enjoy it I love sorting out my clothes and actually I am one of those persons who use different scents for different loads
Ugh! Laundry never ends at my house!
People think im crazy when I say that I LOVE doing laundry. There’s just something about the clean scent and it relaxes me. I also can’t go into a store without walking down the laundry isle even if I don’t need anything.
I like doing laundry right when I get up while drinking my coffee. I’ll throw the laundry in while my coffee is brewing grab my cup come back to the wake
Washer and throw it in the dryer! Then I’ll put it away. I have no problem doing laundry!!
Laundry is sure easier when you have wash and dryer at home. Had to take rugs to wash at laundromat and cost 7.00 to do those glad it’s not every week
I don’t like doing laundry because I always have like 10 big bags.
Doing laundry is a necessary evil!
Love doing laundry 😏
