Hi, James here from NCP. Are you thinking about joining NCP, or maybe you recently signed up and you’re wondering what will happen next? I’m going to review a few questions we frequently get about the panel membership signup process.
What happens after I sign up to be an NCP panel member?
Once you complete the sign up process, NCP will review all your information. If there’s an opening on the panel for a household that matches your demographic profile, NCP will contact you to let you know you’ve been selected.
I tried to sign up, but I got a message that NCP is not recruiting in my area. Why?
NCP must maintain specific demographic and geographic representation on their panel. It’s possible when you signed up that NCP had already met the quota for your area. Spots on the panel can open at any time, so please keep trying!
Can other members of my household also be NCP panel members?
Once your NCP panel membership is activated, anyone in your household is welcome to install the NCPMobile app and share the same login credentials as you, but for NCP to maintain a demographically and geographically balanced panel there can only be one unique NCP panel member ID per household residence.
How is NCP different from other market research companies?
NCP is a joint venture between NielsenIQ and Circana, two of the world’s top research powerhouses, and so as the standard in market research panels. NCP collects a high level of purchase information as well as conducts surveys and studies so that manufacturers and retailers can use the data to make important marketing and product decisions.
