Every year on October 29th, cat lovers celebrate National Cat Day. It’s the purrfect day to give extra attention, treats, and appreciation to the independent felines who grace our lives.
National Cat Day also serves as a day to bring awareness to adoption from local shelters and reminds us that neutering and spaying helps reduce the abandoned population.
The day was founded by pet & family lifestyle expert, animal rescue advocate, conservationist, dog trainer and author, Colleen Paige to bring awareness to the number of cats that need to be rescued each year (Colleen also founded National Dog Day).

I have five beautiful kitties, they were given extra yesterday of everything. We keep food and water by them all the time, which is dry, twice a day they get wet food, then they get treats, they are computer chipped, nails clipped, teeth brushed, hair brushed, petted and loved always. Their names is Buttons, Bo, Foxy, Issy and Buddy. They are all neutered and spayed also. They see the Veterinarian regularly for shots and anything else they should need. They get baths.
